Ok build update curbourgh was a blast the car ran well only a few issues cropped up the only major one was we had painted the wheel arch stays so our tiger seal only bonded to that . So they are gretting re stuck after some good advice of fellow moggers and we have decided to swap the second hand alloys for a new set after we found one was slightly buckled so still cracking on next stop donnington

ok so not much progress on mevster lately but we have fitted new alloys and modified our a frame with the help of my neighbour and his welder and turned it into a towing dolly for our donnington trip only heaters to fit after donnington once I get me head around the wiring then final prep for the dreaded IVA test

Ok so a week away from donnington and our tow dolly idea has been scrapped and we are hiring a trailer the safe option

Full trailer is better idea so you don't have to pull the drive shaft to tow rear on road..

Ok so I am filling in the dreaded Iva form but have not got a clue about speed rating tyres are v rated to 149 mph and clocks have a max speed of 140mph so what do I put on the form Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not looking forward to that form!
Thinking out loud.... you need the max quoted speed to be no more than the clock can show or the tyres can handle, so it can't be any more than 140mph.... but I'm guessing you'd want to back it off a tad. 120mph?
