Hello Everyone I am glad to announce that Pete Dove dropped off my sonic 7 yesterday, who by the way is a very nice guy. I was ecstatic to have another kit car builder (MEV rocket) dropped off 2 miles away (David Gipson), I am sure we will be annoying each other. I will post some pictures in a bit.

I am having trouble with my Arms bushings. After pressing in the metal crush tubes in to the rubber bushing and the A-arms I realized they were too long for the bushing and won't fit in the frame? . See the following pictures. Are they supposed to come cut to length or do I have to machine down every one : ( which would be a lot of work? Advices from anyone please? Also I am building a bit blind as I don't have access to the build instructions as of yet

I am in Houston Texas (Sugar Land) I am working on the front suspension now, see the pictures. I had to drill the top shock holes bigger as they were missized. Bend the tabs out slightly. The tricky part was the bushing but I got them to move very smoothly by drilling out the plastic with a 3/4" drill bit and greasing them. I also polished the metal crush tubes by attaching them to my drill and go over them with 1200 wet sand paper. The result is the suspension is very smooth and tight.

Well I screwed up the firewall so I will re-bend a piece of sheet metal, This time I am going to put a stand off on the firewall so the back behind the seat is not hot to the touch, Basically two sheet of metal with a air gap in-between, this will reduce the noise from the engine too (Maybe).
That is not me in the video!!!

Trust me you won't reduce any noise from the engine, it's sitting 12 inches away from your head and it sound great.

Is heat an issue? My concern with heat in the cabin is not enough!
