Hi Daniel Welcome to the forum. There are only two in the states that are running and titled as far as I know. One is mine with a 05 Burgman 400 and Rogers's with an 08 Burgman 400. I just retired and had a lot of help with people at work that could weld MIG and TIG to get my frame to the state it is now. I no longer have the venues to build another one to the level I have mine at. As far as I know there is nothing like what I have in the states. The closest trike that I would endorse would be a Scorpion P6 that I saw and drove. It is about 26K used. linkI love mine and being super reliable will keep it until I cannot drive it anymore. Edward

Thank you all for your input on this forum and personal messages. Sounds like my only choice is to wait 6 months for a kit and spend another 6 building. That or to find another affordable trike, which has been impossible.

Strip and prep the donor while waiting for the kit. Sure you could get it quicker if you paid more for shipping.

It may take a few visits to your local DMV/DOL inspectors to get it licensed as a motorcycle. You will need to get a receipt with the VIN typed on it from every used motorcycle part used, no EBAY printed receipts are accepted here in Washington state. Keep every receipt, even for nuts and bolts and the like as they may require it. As far as shipping goes, this kit is only made in England and US Customs are involved. Something’s can be EXPEDITED and others can’t, work with Kevin in Atlanta GA on that part. This kit is a well worked out kit but still requires a donor bike and extra parts. If the kit runs say $5650 shipped, as a bare bones build I would say double that for a good low mileage 2002 to 2006 Burgman 400 and all the extras. One like Edwards above would run about 3 + times the basic kit. If you decide to go with a 2007 up 400 then you would need to ask Roger how to modify the kit to work. We all are on here to help each other. I don't even own a kit and may never own one. Not trying to scare you off of a build, just be diligent in researching your local laws and regulations on doing a home build with a manufactured certified kit BEFORE spending the money on said kit and shipping.
