We will be playing hide and seek at the show on the 24th/25th August. There will be a TEAM MEV display area, but separately you will find a Missile on display and a Rocket on another stand, there will also be a big red MEV in another area too. See if you can find them all, and don't forget there will be a great display of owners cars outside in the MEV owners area (I hope). This is going to be a great show with free admission to kit car drivers and even free admission to watch the racing on circuit. The auto-test and drift experience are good to watch, surprisingly Westfield continue to demonstrate how the back end has very little traction . Lots going off in the exhibition hall too. Looking forward to this one, it may be too cold in another few weeks to camp out but on the Sat night they have entertainment booked in the marquee, tent already loaded. See you there or be square! Please do not come and say hi to me with some lousy excuse for not driving there in your MEV, a smack in the mouth often offends!

The Classic Sports Car Club www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk/calendar.htm are running the racing and having looked at their reg's - No MEVs allowed! It does say they will consider other marques, so perhaps there is hope?

MEV's on the move? I just got his email below from the show organisers, obviously team Mev will be busy in the hall but if a customer would like to drive around the Kit Car taxi circuit then that would be great. We would pay for fuel etc. It can be great fun demo'ing your car to interested parties. Sales commission, of course!
email; with regards the Kit Car Taxi service we are running this year at the show. While we do have a manufacturer that has taken up this option, it would be great if others would also like to take advantage of this free option. I realise it requires another car and driver, but the car won't be driven hard, so fuel and wear and tear will be minimal. If you've got a friendly customer with a suitable example of your kit, why not see if they can do a few hours each day, or perhaps even for just one of the days? It's a great opportunity to introduce new people to kit cars or, potentially, give interested potential customers a feel for the car. If you can let me know in advance that you'd like to take advantage of this facility, then please let me know. If you only manage to sort something the day before, then I'm sure we can make that work to. However, all drivers MUST have gone through a briefing before they take customers with them.

Do you mean this one? If so sadly not an MX5 based kit but a concept car to be featured in CKC next month. If anyone would like to put this 6000 cc V8 Chevy based kit into production please let me know.
