Hi, I am leaving in Sweden where we use LHD. Because of this it is difficult to get a RHD donor car. Certainly I would prefer to have LHD. Will you be able to supply a LHD kit?

It is not a problem, we can supply a RHD rack for you, the rest of the donor is almost the same. If we supplied a LHD kit it would have the dash bulge and the rear aero hump on the wrong side.

Hi Stuart, Love the Replicar! I'm not so patiently waiting for a left hand drive kit to be ready for export to Canada. Can you estimate an expected timeframe of a production lhd?
Thanks JR
ps great Alain deCadenet impersonation.

I'm currently building a Replicar that is heading for Arizona, don't think it would be the same car with LHD, I have a UK donor but will be using a US donor for most of the parts, the only bits I really need from here are the steering rack and front sub-frame. I'm using the RHD wiring harness also but it should be fairly easy to adapt a LHD one.

The car is of course inspired by the Aston Martin DBR1 and I feel it may be seen as wrong therefore to offer the car in LHD, that would make it less authentic. That said if the customer wishes to have a LHD car but is happy to take it with the aero hump on the wrong side then we can help.

What else should I worry about with a LHD donor beside the aero hump ? Dash, steering column, pedals, shifter ?

I am in the US and using a left steer donor and let me tell you that it is a dog to do nothing goes back like it should every thing is slightly different it makes a lot of extra work if you have a chance you need to get the rack coelom cross member and all the hoses and also the peddle ass to go with your kit it will be well worth the extra money
