I don't think we need 30 but 15 to 20 would be ok as long as they don't end up out of pocket
I cannot believe the entry list isn't full as its the best MEV day of the year, Plenty of track time if you want it with no pressure to go fast if you don't want too. And plenty of time to have a good look around fellow MEVs. And not forgetting the pub on the friday evening.

I cannot believe the entry list isn't full as its the best MEV day of the year, ...... Couldn't agree more, just cant understand why more people haven't booked Must be the weather I mean there's only going to be six 'YES SIX REGISTERED' spectators at this rate, and the events FREE to spectate! nigel

Come on you bunch of spanner wielding loonies...... £40. It's £40 to spend a day blasting around a track, testing your vehicle..... It would cost you £60 past a Gatso......
That's not at all relevant :-)
Come on guys, this is a great event, a full day of silliness including Jobsworth sound control engineer.......he banned me from the track for being too loud...Mabbs buggered off for an hour as we all know he wouldn't qualify for sound control..
It's a great day to keep you motivated in your build....
Of course it's great if its Sunny, but challenging if its raining, and 2 of us only have 1 wheel drive....
Don't let the British weather put you off.. It could be worse, it could be snowing.....

Just sorting the logistics of getting the car down there.. No towbar, no trailer.. No IVA date yet either.. It's still do-able

Just sorting the logistics of getting the car down there.. No towbar, no trailer.. No IVA date yet either.. It's still do-able That's the MEV sprit Steve I just can't for the life of me understand why more Mogger's don't attend OK there's the great British weather But with so many kits now sold, now I'm guessing, but if over 350 Exocets are sold, (Stuarts own words at Stoneleigh) then I think its fare to conservatively assume that at least 500+ MEV's have been sold in total and to make the numbers up we want about 5% of that number to book. Ok some sum are in build and not finished yet, but I still don't think its unfair to expect at least 20~25 MEV's to make it. And as for the anticipated 'Spectators' especially when its FREE '6 People !!!!!!' I can seriously see it not happing next year. I also see that there's no mention of a 'BRING THEM HOME' event for this year. "SUPPORT IT AND USE IT, OR LOSE IT" nigel

Folks! Come on! We don't want to loose this yearly calendar event!!
Having said that the Eco-Exo trikes won't be there this year due due to other arrangements (gutted) (sorry Nigel wont be able to help with Marshall duties) but we have attended all the previous ones and the weather has always been spot on! So get it sorted and book your place,,
We don't get many club meetings etc as it is so if we loose this one we are going to have nothing!!!

I know a few of the "regulars" - Carbonbob and Mightylad to name but two - can't attend this year due to other prior arrangements but, as Nigel says, there must be loads more cars out there now, and it'd be good to see some new faces and new cars too. This genuinely is a fantastic opportunity to get your car out onto the track - and it is a real blast! Safe too, as there is only one car out on the track at any one time. And there really is no pressure - you can go as fast or slowly as you want. I'm hoping there are more people out there watching and hesitating that we can convince to sign up and come along. Come on, it really is a great day out. And the last 3 years have been glorious sunshine - so I can't see any reason for that to change either. Martin

Fantastic News Stuart is bringing the MEV Replicar and Julie is bringing the MEVster !!!
Having built and being a current owner of a MEV Sonic 7 for 3 years now I'm getting that itch to build again! I'll also own up to the misses owning an MX5 mk2.5 with only 66k on the clock so I'm quite tempted.

Come on Chaps and Chapette's Look at this weather we are having this week, its gorgeous, base this week on July weather for Curborough...... Certain sights like the lesser striped Sonic pictured below may be seen with enough attendees. You might even be lucky enough to be driven around the circuit in an orderly fashion like this: Whatever poison you choose, make the payment this weekend, or we will have to start selling our bodies to fund it. No problem for me, i'm dead sexy as you can see.

Not been on the forum for a while and just seen the date's for Curborough and we r gutted, we are doing a charity rally with our Exocet over that weekend, 5 countries in 3 days, Travel Trade Crusade link We were looking forward to the event, having done the last 2 years we can recommend it, its a great weekend. Our only consolation is that we will be doing the Nurburgring during the rally. Scott and I hope to get to Newark next Sunday so might meet some of you guys then, we are running a raffle for our nominated charity Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice, so we will be rattling a tin Follow us on Facebook link or linkRegards Jeff & Scott "Dex's Midnight Runner's"
