Had my renewal through from MSM, first payment was £388 F/C valued at £12000 limited miles of 1500, renewal price was £371 so a slight saving. But after speaking with Adrian Flux who now seem to be able to cover the insurance (They wouldn't last year) I managed to get a renewal price of £295 with the same provisions. Happy with that, so have renewed with them, the extra saving pays for 12 months tax too Let's hope we get some better weather this time.

Im with A,flux, about £100 less than you with the same mileage restriction. Its cheaper because im a safer and steadier driver or it could be because im an old git ;D

Yes it because your an old git ;D I couldn't be arsed to look around anymore, besides, AF seem to have a good following in the Kit Car world.

I can't believe they quoted you so much PaulH. I've got 3000 miles limit on mine. AF quoted me nearly 300, once I told them I would look around it suddenly dropped by 50. The sales person was also Very pushy overall not a good experience. Glynwood on the other hand were superb.
I'm not an old git, 41 so I would call glynwood again and ask for another quote.

got a quote from AF aswell they said £380.01. all seems a bit high to me as i am 50 and trike will be kept in a locked garage which is in a locked car park, with security cameras, and thats on limited mileage of 2000. think i`ll keep trying. Somebody must be able to do a lot better.

You have to pay a premium when ya got a bec now days I got a quote with sureterm the other day and the lady said she could do it for £180 i said are you sure ( hoping that she was) but after a few seconds silence she said is bike engine powered and i said yes, then the price went up to £326 so always make sure you tell them if its a bec to ensure the insurance is valid.

Bit of an update for tr1ke owners. Just called Footman James to get a quote, and was told they no longer insure any 3 wheeled vehicles. Best price so far is from MSM £280 or £350 with legal and breakdown cover.Still waiting for others to call me back, but I will keep you all up to date when they do.

I was with MSM to start with, would have stayed if the price had been more competitive. Footman James were next to useless saying they couldn't insure any three wheeler with the engine mounted behind the seating... So basically they insure Morgans.

Try Paul at Need to Insure, check the MeV insurance section. If the computer says no, he does the digging. He got the Rocket off the blacklist it was on with his underwriter. Maybe worth a call.
Cheers

Try 2gether insurance - Parts only!!
Have accident, get the remains back and they pay for the parts only, and you get the fun of rebuilding it all over again!!
£109 for 3 drivers on the Eco-Exo-R, happy days,,,

2gether insurance-- cant get near the price I already have. Premium Choice-- Waste of time. Wont even quote as I have no no claims to use on the policy, full no claims on 2 other vehicles, but no use.
