Thanks Steadfast I finally got the wiring. Door Seals and Ratchets in their final locations. I also bent the track sides out a bit and sanded all the edges. I took the trailer and trike out for a spin and everything is working great. It sure was a lot of work but everything turned out according to plan so pretty happy but tired. I also install two interior LED lights when loading it at night. I still plan for a laser light that will line up the front left tire on the left side. That way I can push it back and once the tire is aligned I will be able to push the trike straight in. It is a one man operation and very easy to do. I also plan for a small hand winch to lower or raise the bar. It takes about 75 LBS now but as I get older it will be easy to winch it up or down. Hope you all like the ideas I am thinking of. For me the best part is when you open up the trailer and there's that stunning trike sitting there. There's a lot of people post 'unboxing' videos and this just tops them all Ed.
Superb!

Wow thanks Kelvin!
Sometimes you get lucky and things go your way. I plan to keep the trike a long time so it seemed with a lot of elbow grease the right thing to do. I never have to worry about getting stuck and having no way to get home. Plus it serves as my garage as double duty.
I also figured out how to mount a brake winch and ordered one today. It will be real easy to lower and raise the trailer with this so was worth doing.

A which is always useful for lots of reasons. I've got trailers with them and without. Definitely recommended
Good to hear you plan on keeping the trike a long time. I drove my first kit for 11 years daily. Kits are not just Sunday drivers. Enjoy it

Thanks Stuart
It turned out better than expected. Getting older seem to slow me down a bit so trying to get as much done as I can before retirement. But getting closer now;)

It beats a Honda Ruckus at the coffee shop that's for sure!

Hi everyone. I have been sick for four weeks with the flu but finally getting better. I did a few videos today and here is the first one showing the acceleration with the new HIT clutch and modified Variator. It seemed pretty good to me. The speedometer in MPH has a Speed healer and is right on the mark. flic.kr/p/rwaEHvEdward

Glad you are feeling better. Flu can knock ya out of the running for weeks as you found out. Thanks for posting the vid's. Not sure if the BurgmanUSA crowd will respond much. They are kind of stuck in the mud type people when it comes time for changes. Roger should be on here soon.

Thanks Kelvin
I am real happy how it turned out and how easy it is to load the trike. The winch made a big difference in raising the trailer safely.
My testing on our street is over but it shows how quickly the trike accelerates now. I really can tell the difference as I have power all the time now. I am super happy how it all turned out and it is just a blast to drive now.

It looks seriously quick though I can't actually read the numbers on the speedo. Is it in mph or kmh?

Hi Kelvin The speedo is in MPH. With the Speedo Healer installed it is 100 percent accurate. The top number on the Speedo is 50MPH. Here is another video I made. I had a slight scraping noise at the end but I took it out later that day and could not replicate it again. Everything is new and just wearing in at this point. You will also notice I am holding the camera with one hand and driving with the other. The butterfly steering wheel works great and I only need to turn it 90 degrees max in slow corners. Even at speed it is very steady and easy to control. You can see I am having a blast driving it. I just have to slow her down a little in the neighborhood but it is tough;) flic.kr/p/ryMMJJ

Well I am impressed, not sure your neighbours will be though!!! ;-)
That's looking like you'll have stacks of fun this summer. I really must get out of the workshop and drive mine soon. I was tempted to do a 100+ mile trip each way this weekend with it but took the car instead. It would have been far more fun
Great job once again Ed. I do recommend having two hands free to steer, perhaps a camera mount might be worth getting sorted, I dare say you'd knock up an exquisite one.
I really do love what you have done with your trike it's superb, love it , love it, love it!
