Thanks for such a good thread on your Busa. I've at 80% on buying one in the states.
The big thing that scares me is the wiring. I really don't want to mess that up. LOL

Thanks for such a good thread on your Busa. I've at 80% on buying one in the states. The big thing that scares me is the wiring. I really don't want to mess that up. LOL Hey not a problem, I truly love mine and still enjoy tinkering with it. Also two track days under my belt now and the thing is just an absolute weapon on the track. Chasing down serious money motors and semi pro drivers will never get old on track in the busa, it's brilliant! If you want to make the wiring as simple as possible, it's best to keep the bike controls on stalks behind the steering wheel. This way the only wiring is extending the bikes original wiring loom to stretch out to the four corners of the car and steering column. We made mine more complicated than it needed to be, as I wanted a more car like driving experience and integrated the ford fiesta steering column controls to replace the bikes. Don't let the wiring put you off though, a good auto electrician should be able to set you down the right path with just a couple hours work. The busa is a defo smiles per miles generator!

Thanks for the advice.
Did you ever relocate the water temp sensor? Also, by chance do you know the dimensions of the radiator you are using? I'm going to take your advice and put one of these in at the beginning so I don't have a over heat problem.

Testing the water here, considering selling the marshabusa. I've small kids now and thinking of something more reserved I can take my boys out in, they are slowly becoming car mad, which I love.
Is there any potential interested parties within the forum?
Look through the build diary for an idea of the build quality
recent pics are on Marshseismini on instagram
Cheers

This is a great thread, and love the process that you've gone through to build a great car. I'm originally from Amble, so its great seeing it in front of some of the views.
Rebel Performance Machines now produce these kits. Their price for a new factory build model in standard form, on the road is £19,995. This gives an Idea as to what a new one costs, so will allow you to adjust down for age and up for mods and extras.
Hope this helps.

Okay, with the new season fast approaching, too many small kids now haha and a house move. I am putting the Busa up for sale. A kit now costing 20K and a factory build costing north of 30k. Two recent examples seen for sale at 20 and 25K, I am going to put mine out there at a bargain 16500ono. The car is currently sorn and out of MOT, but I will put it through an MOT for the new owner.
I will be honest straight off and admit that the car could do with new front arches, but these are readily available from rebel-performance or you could decide to go carbon fiber. Four very recent new tyres, the car is ready for the season. I've loads of pics or can share new photos or videos even through whatsapp. Car is in North of Northumberland area. I am at work for a couple more weeks, so car is available from second half of April.
