Well - what a fantastic day! . Sunshine all the way, and worth the early start . Extremely well organised event, in lovely surroundings, with masses of stuff to see - loads of action on the track with fantastic cars from historic F1 to classic racing minis, dragsters and pretty much everything between. Airshow included displays by the last flying Vulcan, a Hawker Sea Fury, Mustang P-51, Trig Pitts Biplane aerobatic team, and an Abarth solo aerobatic flyer doing some amazing and impossible stunts.....and more besides . Music was great - from Deacon Blue, The Feeling and Ocean Colour Scene. Got home absolutely whacked, but smiling. Great show of MEVs, with the Replicar, Mevster, 2 Rockets, 1 Sonic, 1 Trike, and 1 Mevabusa....only an Exocet missing from the lineup. We got loads of attention from the public, and were the only kits represented. Roll on next year - sign us up now Martin and Linda

What an excellent day Saturday was! A really well organised event with lots to see and do... Our stand was right at the entrance to the paddock - prime location generating lots interest with the public Many thanks to Stuart for getting MEV involved - the only kit cars in attendance! Will definately be up for next year .. Cheers, Ol

That looked like a grand day out. My Exocet was at Donington on Saturday, it's not as fancy as the others I've seen on here, and now it's missing a nose-cone and radiator. And....well done Team MEV - came 3rd in 6hr relay, beaten only by Britcars (400+bhp!)
Noticed this:

Ed China "liked" us, and Chris Evans went past ona golf buggy and shouted "hello Sonic7", then "thats's nice" when he saw Replicar. The entertainment was fantastic, the final act of the show was Jamie Cullum, knock out. Me and Will had great fun racing! Will won, and he got a prize for fastest of the day, swine!
