That's a big battery. Build coming along nicely.. Thought about the lighter smaller AGM batteries however can achieve a greater weight saving by eating a few less pies :-) Should do both really, so may be a future upgrade. Getting very close now. Basically seats & belts, wings, bonnet & mirrors, rear 'view' mirror, engine cover lid and trimming for the IVA. Sounds like a few days work on paper (...how many times have I said that!)

COR fitted. The one bit of the build I not happy with at all. A bit of prep in order to get a decent seal Cover fitted. Wish I could say the slope from right to left was an optical illusion but nope, my COR lives up to its reputation. Oh well. Managed a good seal for the IVA. Maybe the seats will hide some of the randomness. Defo something to rework in the near future.

Decided I don't really like piano hinges, so I improvised something using bonnet hinges from a Mercedes sprinter. First loose fit seems to work nicely. Need to space and tweak to get everything perfectly aligned. The opening action yields a near 90 degree opening before the air intake hits the hoop. Result! Will try some springs on the hinges to see if I can make it self supporting.

I like the idea of the hinges. what fuel filler assembly are you using? Cheers. Fuel filler was the one supplied by RTR when I got the kit. PM'd a link of where I've seen it online.

I have the same dash, and I've had a clumsy attempt to make a centre console to accommodate it, what have you got stopping it from falling out towards the driver?
