well since I have now had the number of requests to have a sneaky peeky of the Atomic colour scheme I suppose I will have to post. Or will I ask for 10 requests!!!! Ok OK just in case a bunch of 'heavies' are sent from the south to persuade me here are the panels. I must say that they look a lot better in the 'flesh'. The colour is 'imola orange' metallic and is very nice, thanks to RTR and there painter.

Hi all, you are perfectly right r16, I am as mad as a hatter. And building two kits alone at the same time is madness. If the Atomic had been on time I had a good mate all primed to help with the Atomic. Alas it was not to be. Work was suppose to be slow over winter as well, not a chance. Though I think myself lucky to be employed as so many are not.I have decided to leave the Atomic alone until the Sonic is running and on her wheels with body. Then need to build another garage,I don't know where the time is going to come from? Then start the Atomic probably won't be ready until very late in the year,so sorry won't be at any shows this year. I blame my wife regarding the kits she said it wouldn't be any harder to build two than one. And being a well trained husband I believed her! Sorry Nigel frame is wrapped up and stored into one of the sheds. I managed to carry it myself so isn't to heavy. Will see about pics later.
Cheers John

Well the time has now arrived Sonic is all but finished and I have finished the new garage,so the Atomic build has officially started. Well, I have unwrapped everything, and put the chassis on stands. Seem to be short of crush tubes and bushes. RTR will be sending them up after contacting them. Was also hoping that a better build manual was forth coming. The one I have is to say the least brief, very very brief. Will post some Pict's when I get back from a few days away with my special lady.
