Congratulations to all those who gave us their expert advise on IVA matters! The answers are; Wipers required (modified from the donor) Washers and demisters Number plate lights Rear lights moving so FOG is on Off side 100mm from stop Rear view internal mirror Side repeaters Knock on trim around wheel arches Rear reflectors required Seat belts required Speedo required, again from the donor Dash with lower edge radius of no less than 19mm. More pictures will follow, it's always difficult to appreciate the form and proportions from a 2d image so interested parties are encouraged to visit MEV HQ by appointment on 01623 655522. I will start a build blog real soon, chassis's are now in stock and our first batch of body work sets is now in production. I will have orange, black and yellow in stock very soon.

Now if you had the back end and the side panels of the Mevster with the front end of the exocet with the fly screen it would look very mean. Any chance of that in the future??

smokemare Can we see some images of the roof, and the boot/stowage area? I presume it's just going to be a clip-on, clip-off GRP hard-top for the Mevster? Good work on the design by the way, as with all your MX5 based models the simplicity and the overall look are both very impressive. Which kit Car shows are you taking the MEVster to over the next 12 months ? Still working on the hard top "smokemare" It will clip on/off and stow behind the seats. The car will be launched at Stoneleigh next year. Glad you like it, MEVSTER looks even better in real life, see you at all kit car shows next year unless you fancy a trip to sunny Mansfield

I am with Trident... I would love to see an exocet with the mevster back end! We need a degree of separation between the MEVSTER and EXOCET or the overlap will hinder I feel. The MEVSTER being the full screen car with roof option and Exocet remaining the lowest cost of ALL kits in the world to build and performing the role of minimalistic. Sorry changing nose/rear from one model to the other is not possible as the chassis' are completely different.

Not been on the site for quite a while, so this is a bit of a shocker! Got to say, I am mighty impressed with this - Stiggy, you have surpassed yourself once again! The Exocet was great fun, but the windscreen alone could make this a whole lot more comfortable when you're going for a spin. In conjunction with a bit of storage, I can see this being a winner! It may even convince me to get back out in to the garage and have a go at car number 2! Hope my son doesn't read this, he'll try to keep me to it!
