Well I'm sold on one just not sure how to get it past the wife and I don't think it would be fair to leave it in the garage.
I am sure I can work through those issues though so when are orders being taken?
Oh, is it a single seater? I don't think I would want to take a passenger, well unless it is another Mevster ;D

I see from PH it's got a rag top. Good choice. Hard top panel available too?

It will have roof option, I am experimenting at the moment with various materials. Currently I favour a hardtop lid that slots behind the seats. Weights will be 600 ish depending on build spec. It wont be possible to get over 700

Doors tend to weaken the structure, hop over a lowish side though and you retain a good level or torsional rigidity but still have easy access with a roof in place.

hope to see it when i pop up next month. ive bin looking for a kit car to buy fully built for every day use . does a kit exist that u can use every day other than something like the exige. come winter im not so sure. my first car was a classic mini and would like to feel the speed and handling but safer with 2 seats and a decent boot any suggestions

i'm a postie living in a flat in Surrey wanting a kit car for fun and to use every day. cars that are as light as these could teach manufacturer's a thing or two bout speed to weight ratio and putting fun back into the driving experience. the roof and door thing is to do with bad weather and security. i don't have a garage to hide it away in though it will be outside my window. ive looked at ferrari replica's based on Peugeot 406 and Toyota celica. they allow for boot space, over nite bag etc

not a fan of mid engine as need room in boot. thats why ive bin looking at the x5 coupe . im looking to pop up in september to have a look and ride one get a feel for the kit. ive got a budget of bout 10k with buying donor and kit and all build costs and paint. needs 2 seats and space for small suit case for over nite stay or a few bits from the shops. i quite like the mev atom just for me as a commuter car would need roof and panels to lock up. im bored with every day cars.

bin looking at some concept cars that keep weight down. the Bentley aero ace concept looks nice very sleek and keeps the old school looks but with aerodynamic tweaks.
