Hi all the big metal fan is indeed a paramotor, which is a great way to reduce stress. !0,000 ft in the air suspended by a few 2.1mm bits of string from a large crisp bag.Have posted a picture of the shed in which the sonic is being built. ( at about 1000ft.)Like welding stainless though could have done it in alloy.Working away from home for the next few days so no progress with kit.

nice location by the way..you wont believe this but ive booked an elementary pilot course with a company called cloudbusters.paid .£600 in september and still had no training.not many flyable days .2 weekends in particular were perfect except i had other plans.very frustrating and im a bit pissed off to be honest.ive got a microlight pilots licence but sold aircraft a few years back.i like the idea of a portable flying machine.hopefully ill get some training soon.what combination have you got.do you fly often. bye the way if you need a hand with your build i can come up one saturday/sunday and lend a hand.just let me know. as mine will be finished soon.your not too far away.regards steve.

Hi John I'm Barry from South Africa and go onto this link almost every day. It's my dream to own a Sonic one day (hopefully before the end of the year) but the SA Rand is so weak that to us its a long saving process. I would however like to know whether your pedals are from the standard Focus or is it the unit that MEV supplies? Good luck with your build hey. Its looking good. I used to own a Lotus 7.

Been flying paragliders myself for the last 7 years. Converted to motors two years ago and bought myself a sky100 powered walkerjet. I must say I prefer the feel of free flight, but you never get enough airtime. Since getting the motor I've had my fix. That's one of the reasons I'm planning on starting the kit. I don't need to spend every weekend on top of a mountain waiting for the right wind direction anymore

By the way, what colour are you building? Is it another blue and white like Nigel's?

Hey John, this looks so good. I cringe when I see all those wires though. My problem is that I decide I can't do it even before I start the job. Must try to get over this problem before I start my build towards the end of the year.
