hi all,
I tried to keep it on two workmates for as long as possible... not very movable but the kit at the extra height off the ground helped with my dodgy back - i'm not good at bending over for long periods... if you know what I mean!!
as for the width i think it was a 9ft wide garage so access actually wasnt that bad... especially when i did get it on its wheels... Its best if you can work on it on the drive then wheel back in once done for the night...

Hi Ol
I read in the tech section that you might have installed a mechanical brake switch instead of hydraulic one. Any chance you can post some pics? I have seen some on the forum already but just wanted more ideas.
Thanks Bob

Awesome, thanks Ol !
This so far is the easiest solution and I will definitely be copying it.
By the way I did use your diagram to get a clutch adapter made by a friend at Jag, came out great but did not use it yet, plan to replace the clutch line in the summer with a braided line so will try it out then.

Another great built, like the engine and the black paintjob.
About the mechanical brake switch, you could also use the rear brake switch of a motorcycle. They are very easy to come by and are pull actuated, mostly via a spring (which makes mounting the sensor even more simple).

All, I know this is a bit of an old thread now, but a couple of people have asked me to put up some pictures of the completed car... Well it would be rude not to really Several thousand miles now completed.. Very very happy with the Rocket... Building it seems such a long time ago - definitely worth all the pain though - it still puts a massive grin on my face every time I take it out! Ol
