Hi all. My insurance is due next week. Just jumped from 170 to 220. I don't think I had used my MOG membership for discount. Can anyone tell me if we just inform the insurance company that we are members or do we need a membership number
Cheers Paul

Cheers for the replies.. I didn't realise you can get parts only insurance on completed cars.. but yeah like most builders Id prefer doing my own work.. does that effect anything if a non fault claim is made.. Cheers Paul

Sorry this was Andy that got me on to it,
As far as i understand it works as fully comp insurance whoever is at fault, but in the event of a accident the Insurance will pay out for the parts only to repair the vehicle and then you have to rebuild it yourself, which is what we all did anyway,,
Therefore they can offer good discount as they dont have to pay for the labour costs, saved me £50 +

Hmm i renewed my insurance with FJ again this year (just before stoneleigh)... I just asked for fully comp kit car insurance, 3k mls, and after some wrangling i got it for £195 including breakdown, legal, and some other FJ standard bits..
I thought that was a good price!!
Maybe parts only is the future next year!

Had confused your "parts only" with the "build" insurance I have - Thats what threw me with the 4 drivers!
