Happy everything Moggers!
Wow that was a busy year, just looking back at the highlights of 2009 in date order;
We did the Detling show in April and took the new Atomic, now being sold by RTR and apparently doing very well.
Then we were off to the Stoneleigh show in May where we took the Sonic7, Atomic and the Zonta.
June saw the happy Moggers first meet at the Newark show, a resounding success I feel. Great fun. Same again this year then.
July was busy as we finished developing our second vehicle this year, the E-kart, we took it and the third new vehicle, the MKII E-trike along to Santa Pod for the alternative energy trials.
Plan sets are still popular with the E-trike but we had very little interest in the kart so we sold it on.
Sept saw another Moggers meet at the Stafford show. More fun and frolics then for the hardcore Moggers.
Sept also saw the first tests of the fourth MEV vehicle to be released this year, the Missile. This was part finished and was taken to the Shakespeare County Raceway for the Battery Vehicle society event. A petrol version is now underway but the first was electric powered.
October saw the launch of the MEV owners forum.
November was very busy for the RTR team as they did the Earls Court MPH show followed by the NEC MPH show and then we all met at Exeter to unwind and do the kit car show.
The Sonic7 was chosen as one of the top three in Complete Kit Car Magazine's "car of the year competition" this month too and we also squeezed in a display/lecture at Loughborough Uni and passed the MSVA test firt time around with the Missile. We also did a promotion with the Missile and our local ice hockey team.
Exeter was used to unveil the new Missile and the fifth all new vehicle of the year from MEV, the R1 powered EXO tR1ke. It looked great and we can't wait to get it on the road/track/race it, (sounds like a good name for the firm that sells it).
We are now concentrating on what promises to be a great 2010.
We will attend and support all kit car shows this year so come and say hi.
Better still, get your car on the road and join in the fun with the other Moggers.
January 16th/17th will see RTR exhibiting at the NEC autosport .
April 4th/5th Detling kit car show.
May 2nd/3rd Stoneleigh show.
June 19th/20th Newark show.
July 31st MOG track day Curborough.
Sept 18th/19th Stafford show.
Oct 23rd/24th Exeter.
Please get these dates in your diaries as we look forward to having a great time this year, the more the merrier.
Kindest regards from Stiggy and Jules
