I have written to John Symes who is the circuit safety officer for the MSA for advice on our facility. I will post his reply when I receive it. I felt it important that we receive an official verdict as to how we should operate. The text i sent is below;
Hi John, I feel it would be very useful to meet on site when you are in the area to discuss our proposal which is as follows. The MEV owners group which is run by members for members and is not part of MEV LTD have asked if they can use our test facility for a meeting. This would be advertised on the MOG forum and members would meet up to test their cars, have a BBQ ect. I would consider this to be a gathering of club members rather then an organised speed type event as no timing will be permitted and only one car will be allowed at a time on the track. Nearly all MOG owners do not have a race licence. Most of the cars we sell do not have an MSA spec roll bar. They all have roll bars but are not made from CDS tube in most cases. We do sell race car but that is a different market and our test facility will be of little interest to a race driver. The track itself easily complies with the criteria set out in the blue book. We have provided a minimum of 10m between track and spectators/pits/car park. The run off areas are all in excess of 3m from barriers. We have cleared all tress within 5m of the track and have imported 200 tons of pea gravel to the end at the small circle. We also intend to install a chicane half way down the main leg to slow the cars and to add interest. I have attached a drawing of the proposed track alterations. These are shown as widening areas and the chicane etc. I would be very grateful if you could give us your opinion as to how we should operate the “gathering” and weather we need any consent to do so. The members have had experience at running such gatherings at the Curborough sprint circuit and we have a member who is first aid trained and another who is fire safety trained. We also have fire extinguishers and first aid equipment. The gathering we propose is one for fun and socialising and not adrenalin fuelled. Please come back to me so I can advise the members. Regards Stuart Mills

Good move Stu.
I am sure you can do what you want on your own land, but the questions are well worth asking and it's prudent to do so.
I like the idea of the chicane on the main straight. I think it will make it safer and more fun.
Excellent

i guess the track needs to be as wide as the longest MEV product is long. Should give the ECO EXO an advantage
