Your problem doesn't seem the be the bushings, but more of the shock/spring combo. You need a stiffer spring, higher ride height, or both. Your best bet probably is the Raceland setup. It will have stiffer springs and fully adjustable ride height. Yes I think your right, sounds just the job. Is it a difficult job have you any tips. Been looking at Raceland but can only see Mk2 at the moment, I'll have to look again. Plan to start end December when we will sorn it, but at the moment with the mild weather still getting out every weekend ;D REgards Jeff

The raceland shocks don't come with any top mounts, I stuck the mk1 top mounts on with a couple of washers and it worked fine. The other option is to buy some mk2 top mounts from autolink or eBay. They have the same bolt pattern to fix to the Mev. Alex

Yep, used the mk2 shocks on a mk1 based kit. The only difference is the top mount, mk2 is slightly taller than a mk1 so I added a few thick washers to the end/top of the damper rod and it worked a treat with the mk1 mounts. You may have to shave a small slither off the inside edge of the top front wishbone as the race land shocks are much thicker.
