Hi Shaun, as I understand it for a new reg only 1 major componant can be refurbed (i.e. the engine) the rest must be new, at least that as the case when I did mine in 2016. If you are doing a full build do yourself a huge favour and read through as many full Rocket build diaries on here as possible. Before I built mine I spent many hours on here, it will save you time and money in the long run. Every answer to every question you will have is on this forum in the build diaries. I say this because you will see solutions that you would never have thought of and it's usually accompanied with pictures. The build diaries are a hugely useful resource. Obviously it would be great if you create your own build diary too, this helps others who follow and also helps us when giving you advice. Regarding where to place the battery and ECU? Where do you want to put it? I put mine in the front, some put theirs in the engine bay... but as it's your build the choice is yours. Regarding parts (seat runners, throttle cable etc) these are all part of building your own unique car, it's all your choice. Buy what you want from where you want. Some good resources are; Ebay (believe it or not) (he is a member of this forum) www.kitcardirect.co.ukwww.kitspares.co.ukwww.carbuilder.com/uk/I also used Demon Tweeks, they are expensive but you get what you pay for. There are loads more but doing your research and shopping around is part of the fun. Just ask Google I hope this helps and good luck with your build
