Hello Can anyone advise? Have reached the switch on stage having modified the mx5 loom and virtually nothing works.Front headlights and 1 amber realright only and they come on as soon as battery is connected Trying to find electrician to help Any pearls of wisdom would be great fully received.

I had some gremlins that ended up being related to the black ground wires that go to a set of plastic blocks. The wires were corroded inside the plastic sleeve (making it hard to detect). Scroll though page 5 and you'll see what I mean: mevowners.proboards.com/thread/9813/boston-build?page=5Another thing to check is the fuse block with all the tiny fuses. I found that a bunch of them had burned out, most likely from from my mucking around with wires and shorting them out.
