Hi all,
Just a quick? Anyone else going to Laon. Our first trip “overseas” and was wondering if anyone else is taking their Replicar?
Best regards Simon

Looks awesome and a great event. Bit too far to travel for me.
Do you know the paint code for your car?
Getting mine painted after summer and debating metallic green or metallic jaguar blue.

The previous owner rang the DVLA and asked if they had anything with AM and DBR variation for the year. Apparently it was £99...👏👏👏😃😃😃 Loving the pictures, must have taken ages to grow the tash How did you manage to get the 2015 Reg?

I don’t I am afraid, I was told it was an AM racing code, I’ve investigated and I don’t think it’s California Sage...I was told it one of the more modern codes. Looks awesome and a great event. Bit too far to travel for me. Do you know the paint code for your car? Getting mine painted after summer and debating metallic green or metallic jaguar blue.

I am biased, I would go green. Heart says green, brain says green too, I read that the human eye is most sensitive to the colour green. But seriously any Replicar on the road in any colour will celebrate the era. Best of luck with build. Looks awesome and a great event. Bit too far to travel for me. Well it clearly works in Green as they couldnt move it when it was red My question re the reg was how is it registered as new in 2015 I understood you couldnt put a plate on newer than the donor? Gutted if I could have as there were a number, not unlike yours, that I could have gone for. btw you know its still registered as red?

That’s something I should double check. SVLA was 2015, had a 15 plate before the AM15 current one. Will look into...thanks for the heads up 😃 Well it clearly works in Green as they couldnt move it when it was red My question re the reg was how is it registered as new in 2015 I understood you couldnt put a plate on newer than the donor? On the colour thing (and I agree about the green being better) if you look at stats red cars have fewer accidents because we notice red far quicker than any other colour (part of some research I did almost forty years ago) hence less likely to run into or pull out on a red car. I recall the worse colours were blue and green.
